how: 

Using the Alma Pixel Pro, which is an Erbium:Yag 2940 fractionated ablative laser.

how IT works: 

Microscopic holes are lasered into the skin in a grid pattern, leaving interspersed areas of unaffected skin around which the skin heals more quickly. As the skin heals it produces new collagen.

what to expect:

Immediately after treatment, there will be redness and a sunburn feeling that lasts several hours. There will be a pale to dark brown pixel pattern and a leathery feeling of the skin that will flake off on days 4 and 5. Full recovery is expected by day 5-7. Down time is decreased with subsequent treatments.

NUMBER OF TREATMENTS NEEDED:

Three treatments if aggressive or five treatments if conservative, spaced 4 weeks or more apart. Results continue to improve over 6 months.
