How does dermasweep work?

Using a variable-level vacuum and an assortment of treatment tips, the DermaSweep wand gently lifts the skin against the appropriate treatment tip, removing the top most layer of skin called the stratum corneum.  Your skin is left smoother while the vacuum action of the wand stimulates blood flow and cleans pores.

what will my skin look like after treatment?

Your skin will have a warm, pinkish glow that can last up to 30 minutes.  Your post treatment care is simple and easy, and will be explained by your skincare provider.

how long will it take before i see results?

Typically, you will see results after the first treatment.  Lasting and more significant results will occur after 3 to 6 treatments spaced 2 weeks to 4 weeks apart.

i have sensitive skin. Can i still have a dermasweep facial?

Patients with any skin type can undergo the DermaSweep facial because the treatment is customized to your skin type. Those with dry, sensitive skin will be treated with lighter suction and with a more gentle, hydrating infusion so as not to irritate the skin. On the other hand, those with thick, oily skin can be treated with maximum suction as well as stronger, chemical peel infusions.
